What is the comment regarding JCA having "bigger issues than football"?

I would presume he is referring to enrollment. JCA is in a similar position to many Catholic high schools with regards to enrollment. While enrollment will always be a concern, I have extreme confidence in the people who are in place right now and look forward to great things there!

On a side note, the "bigger problems" at JCA haven't seemed to effect their other traditionally strong programs, volleyball and baseball. The volleyball team is a top 5 team in the state and the baseball team is loaded with talent at all levels.

As was stated in another post and validated by Ramblinman, who actually does his homework, CCHS has a current year enrollment that is very close to Y2003 enrollment, the year in which they won class 6A in football.

I believe they had 1,346 students in the school in 2003. Only +/- 50-60 students shy of that currently.

The issue isn't overall enrollment, it's participation numbers in football. And as USD communicates above, what about the other sports at CCHS that currently thrive? Don't those sports count? I'd rather be in the ESCC than any new 'SCC'.

No I was looking at Souc's predictions. He projects how he feels it will workout at the end of the year. Didn't have MCC in until they upset ND!
Viator gave away game tonight. 1st 3 possessions inside the 20 (1st two inside the 10 and they came away with 0 points). Poor play calling and execution.

ND defense was good, no passing game. Someone said one dimensional and that is spot on.

Agreed. ND's defense will keep them in most games. But that won't be enough with a one dimensional offense against most 8A playoff teams.
