He know why. Not going to get into a debate with Corey when LWE has a good team he has his chest poked out. No one said ESL was not unbeatable. Its high school football man. Lighten up just have fun and watch the game be happy for all the kidslet them have their moment no matter if its MC, LA or anyone.

No one?

Don’t believe the hype....
Well you’re the one that told us that you did that, at 2:40 in the morning. And while I’m sure you will claim otherwise, you’re not pulling that crap down in the Boogie. I don’t care if you wear your badge around your neck or not, you ain’t pulling that crap.

i knew you’d try to make it a social issue, although I refrained from commenting when others did such... we both know the truth, that’s our tailgate section, we sat through the comments before the game, but at the half one of your coaches bellowed something over the fence, then got sensitive. Let’s just stick to football, my resume speaks for itself. I spoke to coach Sunk after the game; so why attempt the character shot. You can’t win that one...

Sounds good! Good luck!

Your funny. I actually don’t have any dislike for ESL. I actually respect their program. I think the fans can get a bit over the top but I respect the program and the team. I have said it before and will say it again. I think a game between ESL and LWE would be a great game.
I have no rooting interest in either team...but it really would not be a good game. LWE would roll over ESL.

You should have saved the disclaimer and said “IMO” instead.

As a buddy once told me, “don’t get into debates on the internet, because there are no intellectual prerequisites for creating accounts or becoming members; a plum fool (better, more colorful adjectives than this are more fitting to be inserted here) could be on the other side of the keyboard” In this case, I definitely share his sentiment.

We have just identified two........

I’ll have to buy my buddy a few rounds.

This is just stupid. Good luck and good riddance.

Apologies! I thought y’all was still up. I work evenings and nights on the south and west side. I still love ya, despite your insinuation of potential violence, and that I would not be welcomed with open arms in the “boogie”. I know y’all don't care, nor will this be of any significance, but I enjoy cigars, whiskey, slightly warmed lunchroom butter cookies, sports gambling, tactical combatives, and i love MC Football- as any Donner should. The games over! I’m no longer relevant in your quest for a Championship. Let’s all shake hands and move on...
Officer classless lol. You were never relevant to begin with sir. You do what clowns do.. make noise so we can laugh at you

Correct me if I’m wrong.

Grown Fans taunting Opposing Grown Fans= Appealing and acceptable part of sports.

Student Fans taunting Student Fans= Appealing and acceptable part of sports.

Players taunting players= Appealing and acceptable part of sports; hype videos and such

A Grown A@@ Police Officer taunting children of an opposing team that he supports=The reason Colin felt it necessary to take a knee.

This IS America.........

I was watching Cowherd's show, and not once did I see him take a knee. By the way, taunting is NOT appealing regardless of who is doing it to whom. Play/watch the **@% game and cheer for your team.

What EXACTLY (not conjecture or rumor) happened between the police officer and the "children"? From reading some comments on here, it appears that it was in relation to a game between ESL and MC, correct? I do agree with you that taunting of children/players by adults is uncalled for. After all, they are called "adults" for a reason.

Your replacing Kapernick with Cowherd...... no comment.

I agree, strike “taunting” and replace with “friendly trash talking”, except for the case I mentioned regarding a Grown Police Officer.

And yeah, a Boy in Blue did exactly that.

How did I think Batavia would win? I think Batavia is an average team.

You are also the same person who said ESL was dominated in the late 80's early 90's by another conference. It's obvious you have some kind of issue with ESL.

Yet Batavia, the average team, remains at #5 in state rankings with no class boundaries. As Edgy said, IL is just average this year, nationally.

Illinois State Rankings
# School Overall Strength +/-
1 East St. Louis 5-0 25.1 --
2 Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort) 5-0 26.2 +2
3 Niles Notre Dame (Niles) 5-0 22.6 --
4 Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago) 5-0 23.9 -2
5 Batavia 4-1 28.3 +5
6 Warren Township (Gurnee) 5-0 9.3 --
7 Simeon (Chicago) 3-1 23.8 -2
8 Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor) 4-1 20.3 -1
9 Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park) 4-1 14.8 --
10 Neuqua Valley (Naperville) 4-1 29.8 +4

Actually dirty, just realizing we both look like clowns, but your contingency has yet to realize it. Nonetheless, we’re both being patronized by a guy from Belleville who's probably never been to a game at the “boogie”. He just likes to sit back and watch.... there was 100’s of East Side Fans around our tailgate area. We conversed, at times very animated, but the same way we do on the internet; I just prefer live, and in 3D. Nobody wanted to get violent because of our fun exchanges. Despite what your guy would like to see...

I’ve been to Parsons maybe a dozen times in my life - saw the 1985 team and it made me question if I wanted to play high school ball!

While the old man was not RJ Krause, even until the early 1980s, he coached CYO girls basketball in ESL. And one a year, we’d go to Mass at St. Phillips, as that is where my parents married on Valentine’s Day in 1953.

They moved up the hill in 1969, bought my sister in 70 and me in 73 ... but family lived down the hill just off Foley and I spend many Christmas Eves in town.

So, no. You’re wrong about that.

Some of the 618 guys will love this. My cousins lived at the bottom of Hilltop (where Main and State meet, toward the Caseyville side. Their house was facing the drive in theater in French Village.

You know what kind of movies they showed there!!!!

We boys were always shooed to the back yard - away from the front porch!

Wow! The plot gets even better... lol now there was uniformed officers taunting kids who were already being humiliated.

Wow! The plot gets even better, now there was uniformed police taunting kids who were already being humiliated on the field. Lol not one uniform amongst the 20 guys at my party. No fan group talks more trash than East St. Louis, then when you can’t back it up you make excuses. phantom flags, long bus rides, and now child abuse. You get no sympathy; true definition of internet clowns... always drawing comparisons with LWE, but i know if we matched up again you’d definitely get that same long walk to the wood shed... what team has a coach monitoring the fan forum?? (By the way, the beat down in 88’ so it’s not personal, I have nothing against the Flyers) Then you can’t understand, if a team game plans to take away the long ball of course you’ll get short game garbage yards... they kept you out the end zone when it counted most, I guess those 300 yards was your moral victory. Nobody looks at the stats afterwards; just the score bro... and crusader I don't want you complaining... “but, it’s 3AM” I’m at work. Y’all need to focus on Montini... they won’t believe the hype either.

No one ever stated “uniformed” police, however a plain clothes idiot instead.

Get to work, Mr. Officer!

Again, the fact that you think it okay to talk to the opposing Coaches and players at their locker room before a game says it all. A persons character always shine bright. Good luck with the rest of your season. Fans are fans. Unfortunately you were never taught the difference. I don't care what a fan told you at the tailgate, the minute you decided to approach the locker room with the Players and Coaches defined your character. Remember, a streaker is in fact, a fan!

“And yeah, a Boy in Blue did exactly that.” (Direct Quote)... I know with certainty no one identified themselves as a police officer. In fact, i didn’t see any kids upset; just that idiot coach who y’all had to restrain. I’m so happy he didn’t leave outside that gate... lil secret between me and you... your tailgaters (grown MEN) got it far worse, we assumed those internet clowns who said we didn’t have a chance were amongst them. I can tell you’re the brain amongst the bunch; I like your writing style- stick to educating the kids Coach... y’all distracting me! I’ve been a bit concerned about Marist this week. They’ve been somewhat quiet... and we need this #1 seed...

I’m torn somewhere between hopelessness, sympathy, and, charity with you.....

So, in no particular order,
Here’s my sympathy:
“Boy in Blue” encompasses POLICE whether uniformed or plain-clothed, as in instances where you guys are referred to as “off-duty police officers” involving incidents in the community when you’re not technically working, but with the understanding (of most, obviously excluding a person like yourself) that you are never fully relieved of being a POLICE OFFICER until you are terminated.

For the record, I’m not a coach, just a fan and supporter of the kids of my city.

Here’s my charity:
There are tons of resources being made available now to help you become a better Police Officer. If your department can’t afford to send you to any, let me know and I may be able to pull a string or two.

Good luck against Marist!

Here’s my hopelessness:
Get a life and Get to Work!!!!!
