Why isn’t there more talk about East Side QB Tyler Macon? Throwing absolute dimes. Has to be #2 QB in the state, and not far behind JJ at all...

Absolutely agree with you, this ESL QB is flat out fantastic. Kid has thrown with timing and accuracy. He’ll be good next level too.
How? Makes no sense, one would think that kicking & such would be a priority after follies over the years. Maybe thought process is let's not keep it close and we'll be fine
Credit to both teams defense in the second half. Both teams held scoreless. Lot of penalties for both teams. Could be first game nerves. Lot of positives to take away from both teams. I don’t want to over hype ESL but.....
I wonder does this game count as a “big win” for the Flyers up north? Or do we need to wait until the post season. You know there is always different rules when the flyers come up north and show out.

I think that will be determined in the coming weeks. If Batavia has a good season, it'll be considered a big win. I think at the moment, it's a big win.
agreed, two semi final losses up North and not state appearances to NIU....could this be the year. Who in in the 5A south bracket can stop them (JCA/Hillcrest) in a semi?

Huge props to the Flyers tonight. Sure the procedure penalties were annoying and the special teams a disaster but that was an incredibly skilled, physical, and hard hitting group tonight. Doubt the Dawgs play a tougher team all year. Winning at Batavia is not easy and they were clearly the superior team tonight. And yes #34 Urwiler for the Bulldogs is special.
