Chris Broussard made it sound like signing the Heat's drafted players was a done deal because they're going to need cheap players to build up their roster. It would be fun to get the chance to watch Jarvis play since you know the Heat wouldbe onESPN regularly if Lebron really does sign with them.</p>

NBA requires 13-15 players with 12 active for games:

2 under contract right now - beasely chalmers
2 or 3 alleged free agents - bosh, wade, and perhaps james
3 draft picks - dexter pittman, Da'Sean Butler, and SWAT.

that still leaves 5 or 6 seats to fill. Without some severe act of God, I don't see anyway he's not on the roster.

you are in good shape if you got picked by the Heat. You basically automatically make the team, and you may even have to play in the regular rotation immediately.
