written or unwritten- that NO school from a state that seceded from the Confederacy be allowed in the conference.

States rights! Hooray!

their fans that came to starkville. LSU fans fill the "dirty carnie" role in the SEC. We don't need another.

I prefer to have teams that are in somewhat closer proximity, if nothing else but for the rivalries.....

University of Miami family. They have friends that go to all the Hurricane games, home and away. The ONLY place they will not go back to is West Virginia. They say they are WAY worse than the LSU people.

I also have friends that went to Texas and they said Ohio State fans are pretty bad.

Like the guy above said, at least LSU has incredible food and hot looking herpes carriers.

Last year UC played W.V. at night. The way the stadium is set up, you have to walk around/on top of the student section in the 'standing room only' area to get from one side to the other (where the beer is-but that's another story). Every time a group of 'Eer fans would walk by the classy Bearcat frat boys in front of me would chant "inbred...inbred...etc." and point. Most ignored them, a couple flipped him off. But one guy in camo overalls, and jersey took off his hat revealing a spectacular mullet, flashed a huge smile with MAYBE two teeth in it, hollered (of course), and took a big bow. The chants stopped after that. A bunch camped out on the top deck of one of the parking structures and harassed passing students/dropped empties on other tailgaters for most of the afternoon. They truly are LSU's long-lost mountain-living kindred spirits (a simple YouTube search for West Virginia tailgate will back me up here). These two fanbases must be kept apart at all costs, for humanity's sake.
p.s. Ohio State fans are harmless. Just compliment them on their impeccable taste in sweatpants and authentic-looking jerseys, and they're your friend for life.

And without the good food and hot women. Not to worry though. The SEC would stand pat before they would take West Virginia.

...their football program is on par with every SEC football team in the SEC except Alabama & Florida.

Their basketball team just went to the Final 4.

(I have no idea if they have a baseball program).

That part of the country probably gets very little SEC TV exposure.

Once the SEC starts to hit TV sets in the WV part of the country (wait for it, wait for it)...it'll help recruiting!

Hundreds of years of inbreeding with people in your little valley will do that to people.</p>
