down 3 late, RU shot a 3 when they didnt need it...65-62, even at 66-62...it was just poor shot selection down the stretch, thought they panicked a little rather than making the passes and trusting their teammates

I just can't understand why kept shooting 3's? Why CVS, why?

Almost all our 3s were wide open good shots, previous game we hit a lot more, they just weren't dropping. Iowa was very tall, when we did get the ball to Carey or Jenkins underneath, they often turned it over as the Iowa girls were all over them.
Sometimes just looking at stats doesn't tell the story. Also, I'd say 90 percent of the fouls called against Ru were good calls. We pressure so much we hold other teams under their scoring average, but we pick up a lot of fouls as well.

It was a great effort on the road against a terrific team.

RU has done a good job all season of learning from past mistakes. I'm certain the coaching staff will go through the tape and break down what went wrong. Key now is to learn and move on. Long season left of B10

Victoria Harris being totally MIA is another major reason for this loss.
I didn't see or listen to the game, but looking at the box scores, I noticed that our three post players, Jenkins, Harris and Wallace, only logged 34 minutes combined and only had 6 fouls combined. How did we try to stop Gustafson? I would have thought at least one of our three would have fouled out.
