I guess the bad part for the SEC is that now Memphis most likely won't accept our invitation.

But seriously, this is kind of weird. A cross country conference I would imagine would be tough to control. A 22 team conference full of mediocre teams seems kind of strange to me.

The first time I heard about these talks the idea was to have the MWC and CUSA champs play each other and that winner would have a bid for a BCS invite. This setup though... seems much odder than I imagined... 22 teams... I don't see it..

This new low-end superconference will just become where teams go if their conference collapses and nobody else wants them, and will be where teams come from if a conference badly needs a filler team

Kinda makes sense........it's becoming more apparent that the other sports are an after though in this realignment shuffle.

When/if a few of the bigger conferences disassociate from the NCAA, would Title 9 go away? Women's water polo beware....
