I don’t see that on the ESPN College Basketball site anywhere, but you’re right that Caleb McConnell is on the front page - hanging his head with the article headline “Another Dramatic Collapse has left Rutgers with Some More Work to Do”

Sorry. But defense player of the years don’t let you Roll the ball with 6 seconds. Bad instincts.
Stunned we were in a zone too. Everyone gets a man. No 3’s. I’m still stunned Pike didn’t call time out.

So one play during a team-wide collapse defines one player's entire season? Sometimes it's unfvckingreal what people come up with to try to say something smart.

No, but it is not player of the year worthy. Try to evaluate fairly.

Penn State second half could have cemented it.

Pot, meet kettle.
Dear Mr. Rara - I may have only seen an reaction like this from you once...

And as 90% of our posters here know- if you post or say something that pisses rara off- re-evaluate your opinion.

Plus- he knows where you live, your DL #, the type of car you drive and possibly, your SS#. lol

Thank you for the kind words, Mr. Yes! As for being all-knowing, I can neither confirm nor deny such an attribute, as that would put the mystery to rest. ;-)

When they say he guards 1-5, it's not all at the same time... He's not bugs bunny, he's just the DPOY.

Everything you said is on the coach, not the players. Only if he had a TO to setup the D.

I'll tell you what would have cemented it.. and please.. I am not bitching on him . I don't think he should have even been in the game trying the foul shots with his back and that landing...

But if he only made both shots after that great steal to seal the win? Damn. That would have been sweet.

So boys and girls we have a choice here… on one hand we have an awesome hard working young man that loves Rutgers and just won a well-deserved prestigious national award no Scarlet Knight has ever won… on the other hand we have a miserable poster with zero chance of ever wining anything that would garner attention of any kind… basically a nobody. Now which one would you want to be?

In his defense, I thought I remember Caleb telling someone to go get the man who was going to pick up the ball. If he ran over towards the ball, his original guy might have been open. It was unfortunate, but he was disciplined to his assignment.
