I really feel for Corso. He just can't talk coherently since his stroke in the past year. He even had trouble reading a typed out response.

i was wondering what was up with him. I couldnt tell whether he was wanting to cry in comparing Tebow's concussion vs. his stroke or whether he just can't read anymore....he also was getting caught up in talking about Bobby Bowden. He is definitely struggling.

I agree that Corso needs to let it go, atleast for the rest of this year. He might can regain his abilities for next season, but I'm not sure. They could just use him for pick/headgear segments for the rest of the year and even next year (since that is his signature thing). It looks like Desmond is next for the booth. Today looks like they are really grooming him for Corso's chair.

As far as Corso getting choked up, as a stroke victim, I can tell you it takes a while to deal with it. It is as close as a man comes to dealing with his own mortality. Corso sees himself and Bowden, especially by that interview, not being what they once were. He just hasn't had time to digest it all.

he is making an admirable attempt to regain his life. Many stroke victims give up because of some of the indignant things that happen to them in their effort. Corso chooses the opposite route and is a great example to others fighting the same circumstances. He is a very proud man who is exposing himself to a national audience....it takes a special person to be willing to do that. His situation and Bowden's are not even close to being the same. Hats off to Lee Corso and thank you, ESPN, for giving him a chance.

100%.

I think it is admirable that he has to courage to continue his job while recovering and that ESPN will allow him the chance to do so.
