0.6% chance of winning out. And I'll take a 7.7% chance of winning the conference. That's better than the 7.1% chance if you just take a random draw from the 14 teams.
SEC will probably go to 9 conference games before long. That combined with the requirement to play one Big 5 team every year will make other OOC teams we play to be very selective...almost certain predictable wins, if that's possible.
Only way the SEC goes to 9 games ever is if we start getting deserving teams left out of the 4-team playoff. The one Big 5 team mandate was put in place to avoid the need to go to a 9-game schedule.
