They might go in the hole going to their bowl game. Also, congrats to usm on winning the csua title which is like being 13th in the sec! Congrats!

I missed that CUSA tie in with the Gator Bowl... But to add insult to injury, the Ticket City Bowl took Houston over them to play PSU

because they get to go to Hawaii. Bad for the fans because very few of them can go ... would cost a fortune. Can't blame the fans for not liking it ... I wouldn't either under the same circumstances.

So they lost $500,000 beating Houston and may lose $500,000 playing in Hawaii. Good job, USM. <div>
</div><div>The bad thing is, we (the MS taxpayers) are going to have to pay for that deficit.</div>

Tulsa ended up in an identical payout bowl much closer to home, against BYU, and even Marshall ended up in New Orleans playing a solid ULL squad.

Southern's arguably dead last out of 5 as far as desirable bowl position goes.

they see how ****** their turnout is at home. Why in the hell would you want a team in your bowl when the fans don't even pack out the stadium at home? It really isn't that hard to see.

got taken by a team that has a hard time selling out a 35,000 seat stadium in a metropolitan area of 2 million. Plus, any team should be able to sell out the few thousand tickets the schools get. This is more of them getting thrown under the bus by their own conference as a reward for demolishing C-USA's payday.
