ESPN reports Mizzou almost kicked out of Big12

...would have happened if the Big12 could have stopped the bleeding at one team. Then kick out Mizzou to be at 10 teams. Apparently Mizzou and the conference don't get along.

it would take a unanimous vote to get us out. We have one friend (not sure who it would be), but if it came down to it, Mississippi politics would step in.

Its not going to happen. The only way we could ever be left out if if the SEC were in the scenario that the Big 12 is now, and that isn't happening.

Yea I read all the Ole Miss blogs today and they were talking about kicking us out and adding another team. What they dont realize is if it truely came down to power conferences and they wanted to kick out charter members, the SEC does not need Mississippi at all.
