Before I could get to the page there were two posts and your link.

Wow. That is HUGE. I can't stand that guy but felt that he was going to do well at Tennessee.

That is massive.

My sources say Mullen to Tennessee! Hahaha.

that guy is a real piece of ****, and he got down here and found out what the SEC was all about so now he's gotta run back out to the Pac-10!

Wow, this is a stunner. He really started to turn that ship around - they were playing really well towards the end of the year. I figured he'd have them contending for the SEC title in another year or two. And this late in the game, UT is going to have to scramble.

First urban says he is throwing in the towel. Mike Leach gets canned. Pete Carrol bails for Seattle. Now Kiffin? What is next?

that TTM screwed the pooch on the LSU goalline and the refs screwed us against Houston? Would a 7-5 record with our schedule have made Mullen a lead candidate for one of the schools capable of giving him a godfather offer?

Who all do we want of their recruits??? The conference will be better w/o him. Just called a UT fan who went to Peach Bowl and they were jumping for joy to be rid of him.

They secretly loved him. At least the Memphis UT fans did. They were nervous when he was flapping his gums and the team looked like ****. But towards the end of the season when they started playing pretty well, they were starting to get on board with him.

that the real reason he's leaving his that is that his wife missed shopping in Beverly Hills and didn't like Knoxville. Just passing on what I heard. This is the internet after all.

we might have gone on a roll and even won against UF or Ark. I'd rather have had a winning season and Mullen leave after one year, then hire another coach, than have hope for a possibly good future.
