I live in the Atlanta area and noticed that Comcast finally added ESPNU and ESPN360 today. Has anybody else had theirs added?</p>

CBS College Sports, and now, apparently ESPNU.

I think NFL Network is going to be added to regular cable.

Edit to add Channel Lineup...add 741 - ESPNU

OK, dumb question. How do you get the 700's? I have just regular cable which includes 50+ channels including ESPN, ESPN2, CSS, FOX South, Golf Channel etc........ You have to buy something else? is that the $5 deal?

So a little more with tax and fees I guess. But roughly what I'm paying now. Looks like a no brainer. Thanks for the info. Opps...I bet that's on top of what I'm paying.

Just got my bill and now it's gone up to $60.25/mo. I wonder why it cost more for my current service over digital?

because Comcast has vast differences depending on location but in Meridian

We'll have no HD for ESPNU or CSS and we only have FSN HD for Braves games

If Wikipedia is correct, it says that only 5 carriers provide the ESPNU HD (Time Warner, Verizon FiOS, and Blue Ridge cable being the largest). It says DirecTV has agreed to carry it starting in 2010. This probably means that Comcast will probably offer it sometime in 2015 or so.

they only have programming on there when the programming is broadcast in HD. Such as the College World Series or the regionals (I cannot remember which one).

Most stuff shown on CSS is not shot or broadcast in HD so you have to check the individual broadcast you are watching. Hopefully the SEC football games will be shot in HD.

Now that Comcast has ESPN U, there is no reason to switch. Direct TV can suck it. I have already gotten several calls from Ole Miss friends of mine wanting to hang out at the house on Saturdays this fall since they have Direct TV and cannot get CSS. Plus, my cable works when it rains.
