but it comes back to ticket sales and a traveling fan base. Stricklin responds with Miss. St. fans have ordered 23,000 tickets to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and 16,000 to the Gator Bowl. Schlabach responds back if Miss. St. falls, it's not about tickets. It's about prestige and "name school."

I don't ever remember buying tickets before they were even announced. I know some people that are waiting until the bowl is announced like we normally have done.

you will most likely have to buy tickets through the bowl or online sites due to the heavy Bulldog Club advanced purchace. The priority sales ended Jan. 1 and most have been oversold: no general public ticket sales left.

Yes. Last year, Ole Miss fans had the option to pre-order tickets to the Cap One, Outback and Cotton right after the Egg Bowl.

I could be crazy, but i think all this bowl selection stuff is really nothing more than a bunch of backroom deals going down. It is not so much of people doubting if we will travel well, but more has to do with the other teams. Tennessee fans will not put heads in beds if they are in Nashville. Florida fans will not travel to see their disapointing team play unless it is in a bowlgame played in their backyard. State fans will go and see the dawgs play anywhere.
