Another thing, can they not use our new logo? Of course its not only ESPN, it was the scoreboard last night (which went out for a few innings), and the local MS stations.....

Why can't we just use the baseball logo for everything. Nobody that has a good logo changes it every few years.

I've written two columns in the last few years about this NEVER happens to anyone but us.
The one I always point to is putting MSU's team info in the USA Today preview of OM vs Ohio State in the NIT two years ago.

Several years ago when Florida was playing Michigan State for the national title, the TV announcers within about 5 minutes of each other referred to Florida as Florida State and Michigan State as Michigan. We just don't notice it as much when it happens to other schools.

the Michigan State bookstore commercials during Mississippi State events that occurred throughout the entire year (maybe even multiple years). I think the games were broadcast on CSS or FSN or one of the non-ESPN channels.
