DamnJust heard that Edwardsville's star tailback Dionte Rodgers is out for the rest of the season and will need surgery on his shoulder. E-ville quarterback is also still having cramping issues for the 3rd week in a row.
I'm not so sure that E-Ville makes the playoffs this year. Not without Rodgers and with QB having these cramping issues. I highly doubt they beat Belleville West and they'll probably struggle against at least one other team in the conference. The team had potential this year with Rodgers and the QB, but it ain't happenin' now.Who is EVILLE this year? The team who screamed out to a big Game 1 lead? the team that blew it in game 1? the team who rebounded for a respectable loss to CBC?
An 0-3 team that runs the table, makes the playoffs and is a £| |{# 28 seed? Or peters out?
Wonder if Sunkett is in his ear yet ;PGranite City and their QB don't suck either.
I think they lost to Belleville East tonight, but I've heard good things about Granite City...and their quarterback.Granite City and their QB don't suck either.

Damn! That sucks. Tons of big injuries in the Southwestern Conference this year....smhHe got injured in the game and had to be taken to hospital. no update GC QB
They've always had that problem, but have still been able to do pretty well. Probably a little extra thin this year though. I'm not sure why, but E-Ville has a few seniors that started last year when they were juniors that decided not to play this year. That doesn't help.Don't think E-ville is a very deep team. A few guys go down and they drop off quickly. Still think they make the playoffs.
