I’m a big fan, and truly happy for the kid, but I was cussing the line drive punts vs texas where he out-kicked his coverage all night and eventually cost us the TD. Not all his fault, but a punters job is to get hang-time first - distance second. We’d be better off with a 38 yard fair catch than a 50 yarder returned 15 netting 35 yards.

He averaged 46.8 gross and 43.0 net. 9th in the country in net punting.

Really happy he made the change to full time football. Hopefully he can be a Logan Cooke type guy down the road.

Or how about this crazy idea - punt it like normal but turn and angle the ball OUT OF BOUNDS!
What a concept!
