Who is going next week? Also, any plans for Friday night or after the game? There really is nothing close to the stadium for after game celebrations.

I'm going and just might have extra tickets in the Nebraska section.

Staying in Springfield which is right next to Eugene.

Springfield is about 4 or 5 miles a little Northeast of East from Autzen Stadium. They have places to eat close to my Motel like Hop Valley Brewing company etc etc.

I am jealous. Had tickets to this game but had to sell them and stay home here in PA. Stupid ear surgery. At least I will be groggy and sedated this Saturday in case we don't play well at Oregon. I wish I had been groggy and sedated last night (beyond the Bourbon)

Going but staying in Portland due to flight times and free motels on points being available. May check out the Minnesota- Oregon State game in Corvallis on Saturday night as well.

Staying in Portland. I checked last October and Marriott wanted 50,000 points a night for anything around Eugene this weekend (bastards). I got the hotel in Portland for 10K/night. Taking a tour bus down and back.

Flying to Tacoma Tuesday night. Then leaving to Eugene Friday morning. Flying out of Portland Sunday morning.

There will be 7 of us at the game! Are there places around the stadium to tailgate?

For anyone staying in Portland I recommend checking out "Dukes" on 142nd as its a official Husker Bar on gamedays and western dance hall at night. Awesome place!

Good for you, that would be fun. Have to leave on a bus at 6:00Am Sunday for Portland for a 10:10 Am flight out...So I will have to watch the end of that game in my hotel room.

Tickets will be cheap and Corvallis is relatively easy to get in and out of with the stadium being right off Hwy 20.

Hop Valley is great. Check out Ninkasi Brewing on Van Buren St., Eugene. They're very good too.

I hope the smoke clears and the fires are contained. The Ducks are practicing at a middle school on the pacific coast today because of the smoke in Eugene.

Montana will hit 1 MILLION acres burnt sometime this week. No rain for almost 70 days........ Yesterday we could look directly at the sun through the smoke and it was not as bright as a normal full moon. Yuck!

We're supposed to get rain on Friday, but unless we get some strong coastal winds that blow the smoke toward Idaho, it will be lingering. Fwiw it looks mostly like a light yellow fog and smells a bit like a camp fire.

But like you said about the 70 days--Corvallis has only gotten a light sprinkle once since mid-May and it's been around 90 all summer.
