It was an impressive first game. Though TCU is obviously not a top 25 team, it's a game CU loses last year.

What impressed me was how Deion took a hastily-assembled roster, which was nearly 100% new and comprised mostly of 3* guys or lower, and had them come out playing with confidence and swagger. To a player, it looks like they fully adopted the personality of their coach. I grudgingly admit that it's impressive to take a totally rebuilt roster and have them playing as a cohesive unit in just a few months, not to mention playing with swagger. Watching them play on Saturday reminded me of the Miami teams back in the day.

I don't really care much for Deion's schtick, taking offense at every other press conference question, playing the race card, as if anyone is shocked by a black football coach or black players, and so on. But I guess that's just what he needs to fuel himself and his team. So far, it's worked.
