It got better after the first two…some strong arms there for sure. The first two were basically throwing from 2nd. If you need a cutoff from there something is wrong!

I don't understand why hitters don't just slap the ball away from the shift. They could hit .800 until teams adjust back.
Hitting to the opposite side is not an easy task, and there are some who just can't do it.
Anyway, this argument goes away next year when the shift becomes illegal.

I don't think sound baseball will be going away because people get thrown out occasionally from the outfield.
