Chris Jones was worth the money on that last INT. I didn't notice it was him that hit marshall on that throw until I got home and watched the replay.

Maybe I just didn't pay attention, but I didn't seem to hear his name a lot. He had a big game watching again though.

I thought Dak's first INT was a good play by their DB. The 2nd INT was a bad throw.

That throw didn't look poorly thrown, just like it was the wrong route. But I don't understand not running a route where you don't throw it to the back corner when Bear is the type of receiver who can make that catch reliably.

Two of our turnovers were just stupid unforced errors (the fake punt and fumbled punt return). The first interception was bad communication between QB and receiver. Dak was throwing back shoulder while Johnson ran a go route. The second interception was a terrible throw by Dak. Tried to throw a jump ball but didn't put near enough air under it. So really only maybe one of our turnovers was due to good Auburn defense. The rest were completely on us. And we still won by 15 points.

The 2nd interception.. Dak was under no pressure and if he throws it 9 ft high at the back pylon like he meant to it's an easy TD for Bear. I wondered at the time if the ball didn't slip out of his hand a little.

People haven't given CJ his dues on that play. He blew up a double team and got to Marshall, then tipped the ball. He's progressing nicely.

Seems possible that both were supposed to be back shoulder routes.

Dak's not going to show up his receivers even if they make a mistake.

In both cases I thought the receivers had a chance to play defense and prevent the INT. Regardless, Dak made up for his mistakes if they were his mistakes.

That's what the TV announcer said, but it looked to me like he threw into double coverage. The corner was covering underneath while the safety was on top. Back shoulder throws work in single coverage.

I think this is where Dak is still learning (naturally so). He's come to really rely on that back shoulder throw but if that's covered then it means the over the top is open if it's single coverage, and that means a TD.
