they look good and have won a few in a row- 6-5 in the SEC with a manageable schedule left- they could slip in and get that 4 seed and bye for the SEC Tourney

He was who I was hoping we would be able to hire. If Tennessee uses an outside source to search for basketball coaches, we need to hire them.

14-12 by TN = awesome coach, we need him

19-7 by MSU coach = fire his sorry mutha17ingass

They lost to UGA too on the road in OT. A sure sign of a horrible coach who doesn't have a 17ing clue what he's doing.

Could you point out the projected first rounders on Tennessee's roster? Martin is doing very well with the team that he inherited.

into it???????

Kwanza took over a very unstable situation and is in his 1st season

The Recruiter was 20-13 in his 1st season and a much more stable situation, considering he had recruited alot of the players- and put up a big 8-8 in the SEC...Kwanza is now 6-5 and will win at least 8 in his 1st season

You need to get that Stansbury +#%%%!** of your shoulder and tell him to quit losing to **** teams

Martin 'inherited' the exact same number as Stans started the year with. Moultrie came to State as a 'good roll player' ... NOT as a projected first rounder. At least give Stanssome credit forimproving his game.

and only has something like 5 players on the team who have touched the floor this season that were even on the team last season. Yeah, its exactly the same situation as ours...

C'mon. Did you really expect no response to someone singing the praises of a 14-12 coach who lost to us AND to UGA in almost identical fashion?

[edited to add] And just to be clear, my "strong Stans defense" is usually always limited to pointing out the hypocrisy of his detractors. I've never claimed he was all-world or without faults or the perfect coach that can do no wrong.

The question is will we? But under the coach34 flavor of the year plan he might as well give us his choice every year. The Arkansas fans are already upset with his boy Mike Anderson saying he works the team so hard they have no gasleft in the tank. That was the same complaint some Mizzou fans had last year when they folded down the stretch. It will never change on this board and if we get a replacement coach and his enterouge likes, he will defend them for 5 or 6 years until we get back to being competitive and if the new coach bombs out, he'll say it was somebody elses's fault. I was not a Polk fan by any means but check Cohen's SEC record since he has been here and the difference in how the condom salesman discusses him as compared to Stansbury.

taking his boss's job after the head honcho was caught 17ing a Coed and having a roster of 14 underclassmen out of 16 total players, then yes... Stans inherited a very stable situation.

That said, I do agree that Cuonzo didn't exactly inherit an ideal situation either. However, I'm not more impressed with him at this time than I was with Heath, Trent Johnson, Pelphrey, or Grant after 1-2 years. I'll reserve judgment until he has a few more years under his belt. On top of that, I am VERY interested as to how he snagged Stokes out of Pastner's backyard. UT had an immediate scholly to offer while Memphis didn't, but let's be real. Memphis and Stokes could have found a way to make it "work" if they had the chance.

schools have different situations, problems, returning players, etc...

Hell, Grant's two worst problems at Bama are Gottfried's last 2 guys on his roster- Green and Mitchell.

This one says Moultrie #24 and no other draftees

http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2012/

This one says #22 and no other draftees

http://www.mynbadraft.com/2012-NBA-Mock-Draft-Round-2

This one only lists the lottery picks but doesn't mention AM...

http://www.insidehoops.com/nba-mock-draft.shtml

Hell, this one has Hood as the #26 pick, AM as #46 and Bost as #49

But, Bleacher Report rates him as a Lottery Pick... and we all know what a quality establishment they are...

Its all so confusing, C34... please keep us updated with which one of these draft projections is the correct one for lauding our praise on our GREAT players and BAD coach. You continue to cite the nbadraftnet which projected things like Mario Austin being drafted, Monta Ellis going in the first round, Travis Outlaw not being drafted... Its all so tough to keep up with...

1. Did I say UT wouldnt lose 3 more? But are you denying that they are on a roll and playing better? They guy is in his 1st season and his team is getting BETTER. You guys have so much envy of wanting praise for Stansbury that you cant even stand to see another coach mentioned in a positive light.

2. Anderson's team seem to have plenty of energy when they are beating the piss out of people in Fayettenam

3. Stansbury had 2 losing SEC records and a .500 in his first 3 SEC seasons. Cohen plays in the toughest conference in America, had to rebuild Polk's mess since he didnt leave the campus to recruit his last 2 years as coach, and STILL made the Sweet 16 in his first 3 years at State. You lose Geezer

after Pearl was fired. 2 left early, Tobias Harris and Scotty Hopson, 4 graduated, Brian Williams, Melvin Goins, Steven Pearl, Josh Bone. Cuonzo was left with 7 returning players who all saw minutes last year. He also had an absolute beast in Jarnell Stokes sign and immediately join the team in January. The cupboard wasn't completely bare but it was definitely time to get more groceries when Cuonzo took over. Since Stokes started playing they beat UConn and have gone 5-2 in the SEC. We barely beat them at home and Stokes wasn't playing yet.

The site is consistently terrible when it comes to actually projecting where a player is drafted.
It constantly has players in the first round who end in the second, dont get drafted, or pull out/never enter the draft.
It constantly has players in the second round who end up in the first.
And it is notorious for not even including many players who are drafted in the 2nd round.

As of my last look, they had 3 foreign players in the entire draft. 3. Seriously?!?!

I am not even looking for them to have each player in the exact spot they are drafted because that would be crazy to use as a baseline for if they are worth a **** or not.
The site's articles blow. The writeups are generic at best. I NEVER hear about them at draft camps.
You or I could run that site just as well by getting our info from watching games plus articles from ESPN, CBS, SI, and Yahoo.

Sadly, i can believe that you would thinkif they are correct with 1 single draft pick, then their opinion is valid. Damn the hundreds of completely wrong projections, right?
