needs to realize that it isn't so much incompetence as it is crooked *** crooks. It is obvious that the sec wants undefeated alabama and florida. In a couple years it could be undefeated lsu and tennessee. If it is MSU and LSU with the winner going to Atlanta, MSU gets the screw job. If it is MSU and Vandy, it will be a push (unless slive is pissed at us about cowbells or some ****). MSU or olemiss could possibly be on the positive end of a screwing, if say alabama already had three or four losses, but if all things are equal, alabama gets the nod. Houston's refs screwed us this year. BYU was trying to go get eligible for a BCS bowl and brought their refs to Starkville and rammed one the likes i've never seen before up our butts. Bottom line is, college football is fixed. The only way to avoid it is to hope for as few situations during the game as possible for the refs to do it to you.

It's not fixed. The only way you can get refs to consistently favor a team would be to pay them to do it or by holding their job over the head. I don't think holding their ref job over the head would work because being an SEC ref is not their fulltime job. Plus you would not be able to keep something like this quiet if either ecenario were going on. Plus most of the refs just don't care that much who is playing who. I know an SEC ref, he's simply a fan like the rest of us.

We need to stop being whiny State fans thinking everyone is out to get us.

Hopefully you were not referring to me. Hopefully you are not one of the whiny *** State fans who thinks we are always getting screwed on calls.

Tell me....how do you "fix" a game as dynamic as football and what do the refs have to gain by doing it?

Has there ever been any former ref state that he was intimidated or paid to sway calls by Slive, individual University people, etc.?

How do you fix a game as "dynamic" as football? Hmm, I dunno. Maybe you should ask THIS guy. He seemed to do it well enough in the NBA.

I'm not saying the games are fixed, but I think any person with half a brain knows how you do it. You have the team that you are supposed to help win. Then, if and when you get the opportunity to "blow" a close/crucial call, you do it. Now, if there is a corrupt ref, he may not get the chance to blow that game changing call. But if given the opportunity, he could do it easily.</p>
