This is just unacceptable. I mean most every player on our team is soft, weak, plays with no purpose or passion. These kids should rather kill somebody than to lose a basketball game. Winning should be all that matters to them. I've said it over and over we need alpha males. Cousins types. Players who'll score on you then intimidate you all game long. Our guys are a bunch of soft little sissies. That's all there is to it guys. I mean I'm a die hard cats fan but I hate weakness. We lets guys take the ball from us. Block our shots. Take rebounds from us like a bully taking a little punks lunch money. I cant wait to see a real big man in Bam next year. But this crap is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I'm about to just break some stuff in my living room next time I see a rebound get taken away or one of our shots getting blocked or a stupid turnover.

The DDMO needs to stop..teams are packing it in and we drive too deep and into trouble and turn it over most times..Drive and kick to Murray,Ulis,Willis for 3.
I sorta feel the same way. I feel like we go through this on the road just about every season we have a brand new team of Freshman. Upperclassman Poythress and Lee are supposed to be leaders, and help show the way, but they were nowhere to be found tonight. Just have to hope Murray keeps blowing up this half.

When you send all the Freshmen to the NBA after one year, it's always a rebuilding year. Dakari Johnson should have been talked out of going last year. Anyone that is not a first rounder, Cal should talk them out of going. One more year would have helped Dakari. He's in the "D" league, and I hope he makes a team, but I doubt it. I think he will be out of the league in a couple of years.

Cal will never try to influence a kid decision right or wrong. I'm sure Cal gets them all the info they need and tells him what he thinks but leaves the decision to the player and his family.
OK most of the fans and posters on here tonight are not true Big Blue fans! We just played the last 2 games vs. UL and Ole Miss and played great ball vs. Ole Miss. Murray and Ulis are the ones that score and what I saw of Hawkins he has improved on his shot over the summer. Willis will hit the outside shot and 3 point shot and Lee played 4 minutes and Poy didn't show up tonight. Poythress has to be the worse inconsistent player on UK. One night he goes for 20 and 12 and the next night he doesn't show up. We thought last year we had the #1 big man coming to Lexington, Ky in Skal Labissiere and something drastic has happened because he is a way better player that what he is showing right now. That is why I dont understand why Cal doesn't give him a shot at the forward position. No worse than Poythress in shooting the 10-15 ft shot and a better ft shooter. We just don't have Towns in the middle to go along with Lyles and Willie! TO go along with the Twins that everyone was down on and hoped they would go to the NBA after Badgers loss. That was a powerful team underneath last year and that is what we are missing.
