Mullen is a genuine man and not one to take the easy way to a championship. I honestly believe this. He likes it here and so does his wife.

I got a feeling that Mullen will turn down the Fl job simply for the fact that if he takes it, he will always be consider Myer's son following his footsteps. I think Mullen is going to make his own path seperate then that of Myer. However I am a self proclaimed dumbmass.

Whether he leaves or not, he'll be coaching in the Gator Bowl. Mullen is a classy guy and he'll finish a season out with the team he coaches.

Prove he can win then demand more premium later.A couple of 8-4 seasons at Florida he is fired and credibility is shot.</p>

Coach stays with us. Who ever coaches Florida will be following the second legend their (Steve will be 1) and if you don't go 9 wins in two years you will be like Miami coach looking for the door.....Not saying Dan can't do that but the pressure will be so much different.

Even further, I do not think Florida will offer him.

I'd guess Gruden goes to Gainsville...

Either he has already coached his last game, or he is coaching here next year. I don't see why we would want him coaching the Bowl Game if he has already accepted another job. Surely, UF will have their man before January 1.

now after Jan 1st things get alittle cloudy. I put it at 60/40 Mullen leaves for UF. The good news is we won't be snubbed for Miami I reckon.

There is a reason why Urban is stepping down. Alot of things are going down behind the scenes and don't see Dan leaving an Athletic department who caters to him to one that just fired their coach after 2 national championships and one subpar season.
