You wouldnt be 3 if you played 2 good teams in a row...but i hope you make it in and then play Bama...oh thats gonna be ugly
..you aint big time and everybody but your linebeard buddies knows it

You can't really believe half the stuff you type about Louisville. I understand you are a little butt hurt that UofL has gone from a middle of the road C-USA team in 1998 to an Orange & Sugar Bowl winner to a team that has spent many weeks in the AP Top 25 and is currently ranked #3 with the current front runner for the Heisman Trophy on our team. I understand this hurts you while during the same time frame UK has been pretty much status quo with a few decent season here and there.

Now would Louisville get rolled by Bama ? That is a possibility but it is also a possibility that Louisville upsets them or at least gives them a good game. Now as far as UofL not being big time well you need to explain that to the 64 AP voters that have UofL #3 in the rankings. Explain that to the former coaches and players who are on SiriusXM that have been singing the praises of Louisville all year long.

Dude, you caught lightening on a bottle with Jackson. Do enjoy it while it lasts.

And oh yeah, yoI've been VERY fortunate with injuries. Don't thunk you've had anyone of consequence on offense even get hurt and hardly anyone on defense. If you played more than 2 good teams a year yout know that. So, no, your program is not big time. Your QB is

UK fans said UofL caught lightening in a bottle with Bridgewater also. So if who ever ends up replacing Jackson turns out to be really good are UK fans going to claim Louisville caught lightening in a bottle again ?

They struggled with duke virginia and wake forest...they aint big time

Duke played a good game of keep away, with Wake UofL turned it over like 3 times in the first quarter so they hurt themselves more than Wake actually hurt them. However at the end of the day except for them Clemson game UofL has found a way to win.

Bridgewater was very good and , yes, it's pretty rare for any program to have two first round type talents in a row. But Bridgewater is not Jackson. The numbers and upcoming heisman award bare that out. No one saw Jackson coming. If you turn your next QB into a first round talent then i'll say you are just QB U. But I wouldn't bet my mortgage on it if I were you.

And I'd be morE concerned at replacing Brown, Kelsey and Fields on your defense.

I want us to beat Louisville. Unfortunately, Louisville has the Heisman frontrunner on their team. Think about the media and politics behind Louisville this year with the Heisman runner, that will get them in. if you don't think it will, then you don't know money. The media has made Lamar Jackson bigger than life. They want to capitalize on ratings to get that almighty dollar. Believe it
If Louisville wins out, can't see them not getting in because of Jackson.I'm a diehard Cats fan, but the kid when he is on, is almost unstoppable. I would love to see Louisville play Alabama and I'm sure I will get blasted, but I think they have a shot with Jackson. He passes first and runs second, I think he would give Alabama fits.
You guys are singing from the same songbook.

I'll say it again. Bama. Clemson. OSU. Winner of PSU/Wisconsin.

That could change - Michigan might somehow win in Columbus, Penn State might crap the bed vs Michigan State, Clemson might continue to sleepwalk and blow either the Wake or ACC title game.

But the committee is telegraphing its intentions- it wants to send two from the Big 10.

At least Louisville is in the discussion as one of the Top 5 Teams in America...and with the Heisman Frontrunner....a player who is a Semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award-(Jaire Alexander as the Nation Top Back)....Semifinalist for the John Mackey Award-(Cole Hikitini as the Nation Top Tight End) and of course Lamar Jackson....

But if no CFP....On to the Orange Bowl...

With a little more chaos UofL could still backdoor their way into the playoff. If not then as long as we take care of the last two games like we should then we are headed to the Orange Bowl.

So far, we have caught lightning in a bottle with Jackson, Parker, Teddy, Brohm, and Bush. We seem to be getting good at this.

Injuries, well, our backup running back to start the season is red shirting due to injury. starting CB has missed several games due to injury. Josh Harvy Clemson missed the last game with an injury. Our starting OLB is red shirting due to injury. Defense has been banged up all season. We just have so much depth, that it goes mostly unnoticed.

Really with Michigan and Ohio State they will knock themselves out...no way they drop Ohio State from #2 to #5...the debate going to be for that 4th spot if Ohio State beat Michigan but not the B1G East would come down to the actual B1G 2 loss Champion or a 11-1 Louisville.

UL is really good this year and Jackson is probably a cinch to win the Heisman. I'm a UK fan and I think we're still average at best and may stay that way till I die. I can't argue against UL at all. I wish the shoe were on the other foot but you guys are way ahead of us for sure. But what gets me is when people like you come to the UK board and talk stupid sh*t just showing that you're an ***. UK fans shouldn't come to your slime bag board either but even if we try to be civil we get banned for asking what time it is. That's total BS and you know it. I wish our football team was better but classless punks like you make it easier to swallow when we see how gutless you are hiding behind your keyboard solely to show your ignorance.

How was my comment you quoted showing I was being an *** ? All I said was with a little more chaos UofL could still backdoor their way into the playoff. Also I have no control over what the mods do on the UofL boards. I have seen the complaints about mods on each other's boards being quick on the trigger. I have seen a few UofL fans get booted from here and guess what they deserved it.

Other than Florida State, has Louisville beaten anyone worth mentioning this season?

That the difference between 1 loss Ohio State and 1 loss Louisville...only 1 win against a Top 20 team. The Committee Chairman did say last night it very little separation between schools 2 through 6...kind of tells me they might value 1 loss teams over a 2 loss Champion....maybe....

You spec said the resumes for teams 2-6 are very close.

In Louisville's case......not really

What I said was what Kirby Hocutt said night..the Chairman of the CFP Committee...what I said the difference was 3 Quality > 1 Quality...and really it was in regards to the separation from 2-6 to everyone else.

Here is his actual quote last night on the show....

“The margin of separation between teams two and six was very small,” selection committee chairman Kirby Hocutt, who is also the athletic director at Texas Tech, said.

There are several more examples but when you referred to "the same pipe dream some UK fans had about winning the SEC Least" that was enough for me. If that's not being a smart *** I'd like to know exactly what it was intended to be ? I despise UL and their scumbag coaches and AD but I share that with UK fans on THIS board. If I spewed purely rude BS like you've been doing I'd be banned immediately. If you don't like UK that's fine but popping off on the UK board is just asking for an argument.

You mean like the same pipe dream some UK fans had of winning the SEC Least in its weakest year ever. Laugh about the schedule all you want but just remember UK is part of that schedule.
Um, well, I don't know if you've noticed but we SUCK! Regardless of who's schedule we are on we aren't making it better. Probably worse if anything.

I don't think it is so much about wanting to be #5, I just think Public Enemy just believe we are about where we should be. While I still think UofL needs more chaos to get in the playoff. I am pretty sure the teams below us would much rather be in the #5 spot right now.

As a Louisville fan I know I am suppose to agree with that but I have seen some improvement with U.K. UK has a good run game that is going to test UofL's defense however I think UofL can take advantage of UK's defense. I am by far no coach but I would load the box on UK and force UK to beat UofL through the air.

I said over the weekend that Louisville wasn't a shoe-in, like many on here were saying/fearing. Now that what I predicted or said - that Louisville was still on the outside looking in, still needs some help - has come to pass, I feel the pendulum has swung too much. I just heard Mike Greenberg say Louisville is done, that they basically have no chance to speak of. And that's wrong, too.

First, agreed that OSU is likely to beat Michigan. Mainly because it's at Columbus. I think Harbaugh is great at the us against the world thing, that nobody thinks we can win, at getting his backup QB to play like a starter. If this were in Ann Arbor, I'd really favor UM I think. So that sets up Penn State nicely. But everyone is simply glossing over that PSU has two games left. This team is overrated, at least a little, and I just saw they are down 4 offensive lineman. They won't lose to Rutgers - will anyone be shocked if they crap the bed and lose to Dantonio? If so, then you're down to 1 Big 10 team.

Does anyone think Washington, after what we saw at home vs USA and losing two important players, can run the table - can beat WSU in the finale and then beat whomever they get in the title game? I don't think so.

What Louisville has to worry about: teams behind them with two losses that can still be standing in the end and have a much better resume. Penn State, Wisconsin, Colorado and Oklahoma all fall into that category. If PSU and Wisconsin do play for the B10 title, the winner has a very good shot at getting in. If Colorado wins out, they will have beaten Wash State and Utah, both ranked, and then either Washington or Washington State in the title game, both ranked. That's 3 ranked teams - vs none for Louisville - and they'd be a P5 conference champion. If Oklahoma wins out, they will have beaten WVa and OK State, both ranked, and will be a P5 conference champion. As everyone says, the problem for Louisville is remaining games.

Louisville is trying to figure out how they can pass the teams in front of them. They aren't looking in the rear view mirror - Washington, Colorado, Wisconsin, Penn State and Oklahoma are each set up to vault UofL.......

The only thing UofL can control is how they play Houston and UK and I think they need to lay the wood to both and hope for losses ahead of them.

Now I would have a HUGE problem if Oklahoma vaulted Louisville....they currently have ZERO Top 25 wins and 2 defeats...especially if Louisville beats Houston at Houston while the Sooners lost to them.

Understood - but that's right now, and I'm talking about where they could end up. If that 4th spot is open, Louisville will say "we only have 1 loss and OU has 2!" But OU will say "we have more ranked wins (2 to 1) and our losses were to teams ranked in the top 10 (5?) when we played them, PLUS we are conference champs." Not saying it will definitely happen - everyone is down on the Big 12 - just saying it could.
