I hate the fact that Ace is a high flying fancy dunker. If he can shoot 35% from 3 with high volume that will be much more important. Six rebounds per game shouldn’t be too much to ask either!
not sure this guys opinion means much… he thought it was OK to bring a gun in to the locker room
Why do you hate Ace for being a high flying dunker? FYI - once on the floor, you will likely see that he's much more than that on O. The concern will be how he fares on D.
He’s excellent but Dylan way more polished than him plus he’s not a good shooter 0-7 from 3 in first 2 games

What are you talking about? Flagg only played his second game last night and was 2-4 from 3.
Ace is a better 3 point shooter than dunker. He wouldn't be a top 5 NBA draft pick if he couldn't shoot
Some have seen a lot of Flagg before he even got to Duke.
IMO, he's excellent in every facet of the game.
I don;t think Flagg is a good shooter and needs lot of work. Yes he can run and jump but I don;t think he is that good yet. I would the would take the other Duke freshman (sharp shooter) as the best player of the freshman.
But he's so good at rebounding, defense, passing. Perhaps his shooting needs work. But he's a special player IMO.
There's a reason why when Flagg reclassified he immediately passed Bailey and Harper and became the #1 recruit in the 2024 class. There's a reason why most who have seen him play are so impressed with his game. He's that good.
Listen, I was pissed when Ace and Dylan were suddenly passed on the list of top recruits when the kid reclassified. But then I saw him play....and I saw what he brought to the game... and I understood what they were talking about.

Hmmmmm.... gotta say.. good thread OP.. I am fascinated that these NBA types are so interested in who might go first next draft so early in teh season. They discuss this to death.
