If you get caught out on the blitz, your safety has to make that play. He can't even consider going for the INT.
if anything, this is exemplary of how geoff collins is an idiot. a blitz got us in 2nd and 23....why geoff would go in a corner blitz on that is beyond me.....we, as a defense, got what we wanted, so at that point, its about keeping everything in front of you...its coaching 101. spurrier goes draw play and the 2nd down play goes for 25....thats just really poor coaching. they arent doing anything special, just taking advantage of our weakest defensive link....the coaching.
guys, this is nothing more than what i predicted will happen to us the entire rest of the season....we are going to get murdered against any offense with a pulse.
