Obama and the Libs desperately wanted this attack to be at an abortion clinic or committed by a nut job. That would have supported their gun control platform as well as distracted us from Obama's failure against radical Islam. Now to distract from that failure they continue to tout gun control and the media is buying it hook line and sinker. Tonight, Obama will talk about getting tough on radical Islam because he has got to do major damage control. The Dems are extremely nervous given the upcoming election. But you can bet the ranch, gun-control will be on his agenda for tonight as well.

Even the AP gets it, gun control would not have stopped this attack.

My guess would be that even though this was terrorism, it feels no different than Newtown, or Holmes in the theater or any of the other mass shootings. Yes, there were pipe bombs and if everybody killed had been killed by the pipe bombs then I think the conversation goes in a different direction.

Who knows though. I lost confidence in "We the People" quite awhile ago. The stuff I see on Facebook is mindboggling.

Indeed, the anti-terrorism message was totally lost in the rhetoric of gun control. Farook was just another American and not on any terror watch list when he legally bought his guns years ago. Gun control needs to be left out of this particular dialogue.
