I'm speaking to the general Islamophobia that i think has increased during the campaign. The moratorium (your word not mine) does prevent family from being brought over to connect with family members already here doesn't it? Like I said...if Trump had come out and said point blank that this was about failed states and lack of verification, I think a lot of people in the middle would be on board. But Trump wants this fallout I think. Much easier to sell "I'm for safety and they are not".

I think a Muslim ban would be devastating, I think a Muslim registry would be devastating, I think a President making it seem effective for people to be fearful of all Muslims in general would be devastating. I don't think the 90 day moratorium is devastating at all. I said that I thought no for SOME the possible changes that Trump represents (because of things said during the campaign) a devastating change to their way of life.
