Didn't they lose by like 3? And they didn't play 2 of their best players. Exhibition games don't mean a ton, at least the final score results.
Glad we “missed” on Ament and Sarr. Boozer is real. We are better than both of these teams. But I’d say Duke is better than Purdue, and maybe UT also.
Hard to judge. It depends on matchup
Purdue's offense will give Duke more problem than TN
But Purdue's defense is average
They have not played each other, and have not played common opponents, so hard to judge from parallel games
How does Ament look? I seen the highlights but it seems like he’s forcing too much overall.

Yeah he is, there is a reason he was one even over Peterson and Dybantsa. Dude brings it every game I’ve ever seen him play and he’s always been a winner. I really hoped we could pry him away but no shot with his legacy.

Let’s not judge them completely after a single game FR. I’m sure all 3 of them will be very good. Some take longer to acclimate. You can tell Ament will be solid, he just needs to get stronger and learn the shots he should take in college.
Had a Duke friend tell me today Kentucky fans are acting like it’s a big deal we beat Purdue. Basically calling it a fluke and Ky fans need to settle down. Yet Duke has one hope in boozer but we’ve got 2 solid basketball teams on one roster. I just txted him asking how the game went even though I know they got their arse kicked by a horrible Tennessee team. He said man Cam boozer is better than cooper Flagg starting naming his stats. I asked him the box score, it’s been 10 mins no txt back. Typical Duke fan.

Yep probably listening to everytime we touch right now. Tenn looked horrible besides Gillespie. Gonna be a fun year for us brother!
To be honest, this game is unwatchable. Gillespie also played extremely bad. No one from Tennessee can create own offense effectively and Duke still only won a little.
I love how our teams built if we get JQ back in a timely manner. I don’t like the thooght of not getting him until January. I want him to have some game time in before we hit conference play. SEC is going to be brutal from here on out because of NIL. We just have more to spend on it than any other conference and it’s not close. So much money floating around SEC sports.
It’s obvious why Ament didn’t choose Kentucky now. Pope not going to promise someone 20 shots a game. Especially the mid range 2’s that are awful. Glad he chose Tennessee. OTH boozer would have been a monster as the 5 man running a pope offense.
Boozer looked outstanding but you don’t want a team with one guy piling up all the points and rebounds. You want balance if you want a deep March run.
Yeah I hate to admit it; but after the first time seeing big boozer play; you take a player like thst regardless. He has elite PG level vision awareness and calmness. I was able to find open shots for his team as well as get his own when want/needed At some point in the second half, he had more rebounds than points at 21 boards to 20 pts.
He did impress me.
I agree with a few; although it was one game, I'm glad we missed on Ament. He forced SO much; and being too light means he's unable to regain controll after initial contact.
Duke won. 83-76. TN led the first half but Duke began the second half on a 23-9 run. Boozer is impressive. Ament forced sooo much. Possibly because that the only option offensively for TN? Their pg Gillespie was shifty and looked decent
I just remember that his lateral quickness surprised me a bit. Capable or being decent floor general... but like Ament just kept chuckin

Two guys shot 40 and other guys did not shot at all...
They must have changed since I last seen them. Boozer was the most consistent player by far and the biggest winner on all circuits. You could rank any of those 3, 1-3 honestly, but I’m not surprised they choose the guards. They all 3 have looked the part so far.
