I can't quite tell, but can anyone confirm if those are now marroon bleachers being installed, as opposed to the metal bleachers we were seeing last week?

I was worried there for a little bit. I think its going to look good. Also looks like the NE facade is almost complete.

They ramped up the amount of pictures they posted and how often. Wouldn't be surprised if they post more pics this week.

The athletic department must read the board... Now they'll know which students are sitting down by the maroon stains on their butts!

I was going to say the same thing. It's upside down based on drawings and, in my opinion, looks worse. You should be looking at it headed into the stadium.

Agreed! Its an 'entranceway'. All should be directed toward people walking INTO the stadium...

Scott Stricklin says on the Twitter: "Rendering wasn't final plan. Decision was made to install it with true north/south alignment."

So there you go.

Agreed here. There is no significance to making it truly north and south, so orient it where it looks best. Otherwise, it looks bad.

It does look odd from the street but looking at it from the concourse area it looks right. Better view from above than just entering stadium

So, if the stadium was east/west, we would turn it sideways? That's dumb. It is a 'reason' just not a good one.

Wonder how long it's gonna take Lafayette County to get vandalized?

ETA: I understand the north/south alignment thing, but still....why? I can't imagine someone getting upset because "It ain't positioned like the actual state!"

Oh well, guess it looks way better than what used to be there.
