Extreme O.T. Elvis Presley question on movie song please help

I know I'm gonna catch hell on this one but I've been trying for the last hour on google and can't find my answer. I remember wathcing an Elvis movie and he performed a kick *** version of "Don't be Cruel" did I just imagine this?

wasn't there a movie where he performs this song on stage in a diner after a confronation?


I'm sorry, I know I'll take some hits but I've 17ing got to know.
