He's already reenergizing the fan base and the players. He hired away a coach from Colorado and is already on a recruiting blaze. It may be too early, but I think UCF bagged the elephant with this hire. Wow*

I don't think it will be this year but it would not shock me if next season he has the highest ranked recruiting class out of the non Power-5 schools
Not only that, but he's reaching out to Florida high school coaches and restoring the relationships we lost under Oleary. Aparrently, Tom Osbourne said Frost was offered other jobs and turned them down. They've spoken on the phone at length.*
I'd expect SF will be calling TO a lot over the next year. I'd wouldn't be shocked TO isn't spotted down in Orlando soon.
Yep; he didn't get a shot here; because he hadn't been a head coach - he will knock it out of the park there. I am not sure how their roster got depleted; but if there is already talent there, he will engineer a stunning turn around.

I'm really excited that he finally has his own gig. Obvious that if he ever was to be our future Head Coach that he has to think about hiring his own staff and get some experience at another school this is nothing but positive for the future for us.

I heard he's also cured cancer, solved the world's biggest rubix cube, and even managed to break the world record for most chin-ups while eating a burger. Dude is awesome.
We were the 2nd youngest FBS team last year by scholarship and had a bizzare amount of injuries. That's not an excuse, it's reality. The well of talent isn't dry, just young. We are going to get slaughtered in Michigan next year, but thats not on Frost.*

Skip Kelly had little to do with Oregon's offensive success all of these years. It was all Frost. In fact much of Stanford's current success can be traced to Scott's two years on The Farm. What will Scott do next? Move over Saban.
Referring to the time he spent there as a player prior to transferring to Nebraska. His influence was that impactful.
Jokes aside, I want Scott Frost to be hugely successful at Central Florida. While we're at it, I want Zac Taylor to be successful coaching in the pros as well. I want former Huskers to have more on their resume than a few years playing college football, because it ultimately reflects well on UNL as an institution of higher education as well.
And if one of them comes home to Lincoln to be head coach some day, even better.

Agreed we should be rooting hard for these guys to do well that way if they ever come home it'll generate a positive buzz for the program. Let's face it even if Riley gets this turned around he isn't exactly the youngest guy coaching out there. It's not out of the realm of possibility he retires within the next 5-10 years. By that time hopefully SF and ZT have established themselves as potential big time hires for the program.
