I just saw that Shannon Terry the man behind Rivals and now On3 has updated the HS databases...
So hopefully the next step is migrate the messageboards.
I’m hopeful, but my expectations are low. I expect some lame excuse like the “the programs are not compatible”.
So far, I have been extremely underwhelmed. Let’s face it, Virginia Preps and the members/followers mean nothing to On3.

Try “edit”, highlight and “select all”, then “delete”.
Worst case, edit and backspace using the delete button.
Yes that's how I did a previous post to change it.
But on the old VA PREPS site - you could delete the entire post with one swoop!
This layout is lame. Everytime coming here I have to weed through a crap ton of forums to get here.

Well to be fair VirginiaPreps was owned by Rivals who was owned by Yahoo so it was multi-national before.
I reluctantly admit that having all six classes in one thread has not been an issue for me yet. Admittedly, during the heart of the season it could get a little cumbersome, but right now it’s not as bad as I expected.
One benitfit is that some of those guys over in Class 1 and 2 get vicious with each other, and you see it front and center. It’s like tuning into a Jerry Springer show sometimes. Fact is that a guy from Graham and a guy from TJ are at it already. I’ve got my feet up and a bowl of popcorn, and I’m enjoying the show.
I just bookmarked a post. Then I just go to that bookmark, and click the 6 fall forum page. Only two steps.
Hopefully they do it to 3 Boards. Class 1 and 2 for 1 board, Class 3 and 4 for the other, Class 5 and 6 for the third board. One board will be overwhelming when the season starts and scores are reported for what, over 100 games in Virginia. You will have to scroll through 3 pages just to see random scores from all over on one Friday Night. As Dinwiddie said, we like to do battle in Class 2. I'm a Graham fan and I like a good scrap. Ain'r nothing like it. So, that takes up lots of pages right there.

You could do 2 boards, C1/2 & C3-6. The busiest board by far was C4, but C3,5,6 had very few dedicated posters. C1 & 2 were a lot busier than 3,5, or 6.

But I'll tell you what I told someone the other day -- go count up the number of forums on all the sites with Rivals and On3. I could be wrong on this, but I believe we have the most, or among the most.
So if it doesn't happen -- life will go on and we all have to adjust. There are worse things -- world hunger, crime, etc.
Me too! I’m only interested in Class 4 mostly

I would hope that On3 will become more acceptable to some tweaks now and then, but if not, we will make it work. Yeah, worse things like crime, hunger, and the deer eating the heck out of my garden

Yea, I have an on3 account for unc and I guess this will be my new username on vapreps, not doing a separate subscription. What are our thoughts on your Generals this year?

The season has not even started yet and look how many threads there are and how far down you have to scroll before you get to topics that have not had any new posts since your last visit. Once the games start, you might see as many as 100 new topics on any given Friday night. Not 100 new POSTS, but 100 new TOPICS! I honestly don't see how it can work leaving all six divisions lumped together. So if anyone is listening out there, please separate them as they were before.
Had to change mine also to be able to get on this new forum. Bo I sure am looking forward to your Raiders coming to Stinger Stadium to start the season in two weeks. First time we've played each other in many years.
Yea, will be different for the Raiders. For many years they opened the season with Buckingham so this will be a change.
I'll see what they have come next Friday when they scrimmage LCA.
We didn’t last year. It was our decision. Not sure about this year. It all depends on accommodations. I heard we were missed. They had subs and you know what we do. No comparison
