Right as my B-Lo angst reaches a fever pitch, he comes out with this.

An outstanding article about the beginnings of MSU football and the beginning of this year. I particularly liked:

A yellow fever epidemic - not all the losing - ended State's football until 1901 when the Maroons played against Christian Brothers in Memphis, again, in their first game. A 0-0 tie was seen as progress, followed two days later, in Starkville, by a resounding 17-0 victory over the University of Mississippi, not yet known as TSUN (The School Up North).

The coaching salaries have soared since, but not all has changed. When Ole Miss and State met for the first time, kickoff was delayed for an hour because of bickering. Ole Miss accused State of playing ineligible non-students. Afterward, the school newspaper in Starkville accused the Ole Miss boys of "dirty play when the referee was not looking." The Ole Miss school magazine said A&M's complaints of dirty play came "from one who has never indulged in any exercise more violent than the milking of a patient cow."

Is this saying our first W was against Ole Miss?

And they are still the same arrogant pricks that their Great Great Great grandfathers were.

he fills his blog and articles with unnecessary cheap shots. Writing about the spread it was "Mullen boasted." Talking about Sidney it was "Stansbury hastily responded" Today we have "a rented tour bus."

I'm sure many people would call me crazy for considering the above as little jabs, but that's what I think.

I try to limit to one gif per thread just because it gets to be too much. But I'll leave her on for this one.
