Damn! I know the new bats are going to make a difference, but my God that just seems amazing.

Edit to add last season's stats:
1923 at bats with 68 homeruns. Roughly one every 28 at bats.

I read an interview with Minaeri (sp) at LSU. He said that they might hit worse than wood. They are focusing on small ball more this year than ever before. That fits our team and ballpark and actually may help us win more games. Brayden Jones has the only HR in inner squads so far this year.

sounds like a good strategy if you ask me. Sure you'll give up some doubles over your head but good luck batting them in with a base hit.

I also read an article interviewing Bianco about them and he said the same thing. He said that they would average 10-15 HR's during batting practice and now they are lucky to get a few out. I see the performance possibly being so low that Easton/TPX makes changes to them to improve them from where they are currently at. But that will be the 2012 season.

during batting practice they are lucky to get 3 or 4 out the whole time. He said they are night and day from compared to last year. Of course he is excited since he pitches.
