Never saw a big man do what Cliff did on that last shot. He was all over multiple shooters in the lane and on the perimeter. Amazing athletic play. Well done.
His athleticism is crazy. I just timed the video of him tipping the three. He was still in the paint about 0.7 seconds before the shot was released. Insane.

Tks for posting this. His reaction to follow the pass out to the wing was exceptional. Most guys would just watch. Replayed it multiple times for family members until they said “ok, great play, got it.”

I rewatched it after seeing this thread title and you’re absolutely right. Impressive (season rescuing?) D by Cliff!

There is no doubt that gumper hates this team...

Proves it multiple times a week
Your the type of fan that even if a player is playing bad everything is ok, where I on the other hand will call them out for their bad play. It doesnt mean I hate the team, I just have a more realistic approach instead of thinking everything is great all of the time.

If there is an award for the defensive play of the year that would be it. No doubt.
It’s the B1G. They would give the award to Edey for blocking a shot without his feet leaving the ground.

I feel I’m pretty objective too. But this is just a dumb mindset. If you’re gonna call out those few plays go back through literally every millisecond of the game and analyze it all in totality. You could make this same comment about every single player in every single game, both positive and negative… “oh well we wouldn’t even be in this position if he didn’t make that dunk at 12:43 in the first half.” Or… “oh well we wouldn’t need this play to be made if he didn’t miss that jumper at 19:02 in the first half.”

What if we lost by 1. This board would be raking Cliff over the coals.

Especially you, id imagine.

He didn’t have a great game. But he had a good enough game for us to win. And he made a huge defensive play when it mattered most.

You can butterfly affect the outcome if you want. Or you can just put your energy into not being a curmudgeon and be glad we won.

Actually you're full of crap. You say you are realistic but you're wrong on everything. How is that realistic? I get on this team and criticize them when needed. You are just an a-hole that comes out of the fking shadows every time this team trips up...like a cockroach.
