I am in my first money league and need some trade advice. First, I have far too many QB's on my team and need to dump two. I am starting Phillip Rivers currently I drafted Trent Edwards late to be my bye week starter We did our draft before the Farve thing was settled so I picked up Aaron Rodgers a day or two after the draft as I realized he was still out there. Then last week with my first game way in hand and gathering the 3rd highest points in my league for week one I picked up Matt Cassell as strategy a few minutes after Brady went down. Now I am being offered a trade, and it is from the person I play against this week. Randy Moss for Aaron Rodgers. Should I take it. Moss is attractive but week on week a QB puts up more points. Should I wait until this weekend is over and see if he will still accept it? By the way the guy has a GB starting receiver on his roster, forgot who though. So it could be a tag team situation if they hook up for a touchdown or two. Thanks for any advice...

How many QBs do you start in your league? If I start one QB and have Rivers and Rodgers, and get an offer of Moss for Rodgers I take it without hesitation. Rivers and Rodgers could possibly be a wash anyway.
So you don't want to trade one of 3 worthless quarterbacks to an idiot wanting to trade you Randy Moss? And then you say that week to week those guys will get you more points than Moss. What good is Trent Edwards or Aaron Rodgers (if they happened to outscore Moss which is highly unlikely) going to do for you if you don't start that one? I don't follow you either. Oh and grats on being first in your money league after week 1. That takes skill.
not sure who i'd take from that list. maybe olsen, depending on your TE. the yahoo experts say grab matt jones, but i just can't jump on that bandwagon yet. although, he did have 6 catches for 80 last week. if jerry porter gets healthy (he's starting this week), he could easily become garrard's favorite target. from that list, i may take porter and see how he does this and next week.

Drop Edwards and pick up Warrick Dunn/Ronnie Brown(injury is an issue). Make the trade for Moss and start him w/ Cassell to double points on yardage and TDs. If Cassell doesn't cut it, there'll still be backups available. Looking at it I'd say there are only about 8 teams in your league.
