the RB-RB draft strategy is very out of date. imo there are about 8 "studs" this year, then a drop off. you can move those 8 around depending on your scoring system and personal perference, but they are head and shoulders above the rest imo for a combination of elite production AND a track record of elite production.
they are:
QB - rodgers, brady, brees
RB - foster, rice, mccoy, mjd (assuming he doesn't hold out into the season)
WR - calvin johnson
then you have guys with more questions marks.
newton (how much does he improve? does the league figure out the best way to stop him a bit?)
stafford (injuries, only 1 year of proven production)
gronkowski (how does he handle being the center of every gameplan now?)
forte (injuries, up and down career)
matthews (injuries, his rating is more on potential than production)
andre johnson (injuries)
larry fitz (QB issues, but last year he proved he's still a top WR even with sub-standard QB play)
dmac (injuries)
then you hit another drop off after those 8 imo.
edit: oh yeah, and if you are picking at the end of the 2nd round or in the 3rd round and aj green is available, you'll want to grab him. he's the guy i see right now who could be a top 10 pick next year.
