It's the playoffs, so this is important. Do I go with Derrick Ward vs. Redskins, Tim Hightower vs. the Eagles, or take my chances with a receiver in that spot, which would be Desean Jackson or Housh. I also have Jonathan Stewart available.

but as a hightower owner, i don't know if i believe that. luckily for me, i also have warner and boldin.

the skins are tough against the run, and the bengals are playing baltimore, i think. looks like tough matchups all around for you.

i think i'd have to go with hightower, because i don't like playing wr's over rb's, and i think the eagles rushing d isn't that great. plus, maybe whisenhunt actually does give hightower the rock.

who are your other wr's? if housh is on the pine, you must have some studs. is this a small league?

so I can't really bench them. Frank Gore at one RB, and the spot I'm debating is the RB/WR spot. 12 people in the league, so not a lot of available players.

Derrick Ward has been solid, but the shared touches vs. a tough D scares me. Can't ever tell with Stewart. Housh is hit or miss as well it seems without Palmer.

i'm in a 12 team league, but we start 2 RB, 3WR, then have a RB/WR. the guys who can play 3 starting running backs usually do the best.

you're right, wayne and ward must play. i think hightower has the most upside of your options. and i think he'll at least get decent numbers. plus, they love him at the goalline. i don't know about ward, but they like eli throwing in the red zone (with jacobs out). and housh is definitely risky without palmer.

If so, go with Housh. He's been the only thing working for the Bengals at all. His only really slow game has been against Pittsburgh last Thursday. If it's not a PPR, I might lean towards Ward. He's going to get touches with Jacobs out.
