Yep, My wife is gonna freak out once I tell her this morning. He was her favorite. She just received his new album on Saturday. Yikes.

I know I'm horrible for saying this, but - I do not like one song by David Bowie (or Elton John for that matter). Sorry he died and all but, he wasn't a cultural underpinning or musical phenomenon to me.

Edit: I liked his duet with Bing Crosby for Little Drummer Boy. Although, I wondered what Bowie would've done with the little drummer boy if he were alone with him.

I was scanning radio and Mike Greenberg announced it. I hate his show but listened. He said he was Lady Gaga of 1970's. That guy is a clueless moron.

Wow...what a major blow to music. The man was a musical pioneer and was a creative genius. I was blindsided by this news this morning. I will be playing Bowie tunes all day in his honor. May even watch 'Labyrinth' with the kids tonight as well.

What was the thing he did, I think in the 80s? Seems like it was 15 minutes long or so. I remember one part he was hiding, and when someone looked at him he said, "go away, please go away." FCC.

Heroes was my favorite song of his. His "Under Pressure" duet with Freddy Mercury is also one of my all time favorites, although technically it is a Queen song. Here is Heroes performed at the Freddy Mercury tribute concert, my favorite version.

The Goblin King is dead. That one poster is probably like "I always wondered what would happen if Bowie was left alone with Jenn Connelly" but somehow I think she was safe.
