Favorite jersey combos?

Bored as can be waiting for the season to start. Personally I’m a maroon helmet, jersey, and white pants at home, and stormtrooper on the road kind of guy, what say y’all?

Same here. These were the first uni’s I have memories of in the Don Smith era. Really glad we brought them back a few years ago.

I wouldn’t be disappointed if we never wore maroon pants or white helmets again.

I’m not a fan of the white tops with gray pants, would rather go all white or even something like the all gray we did for the Arkansas game last year. The only thing worse to me may be those croom era all maroons.

But my favorite is the maroon top / gray pants

That's a good combo. I also like maroon-maroon-gray and white-white-gray. I think gray-white-gray could be used more often. We did that color combination against UMass at Foxboro.

I may be one of the few people here who likes the maroon pants but since they don't work all the time, I think they should only be used at home and typically against schools that don't wear darker pants for contrast's sake.

If you could get the 2014 maroon pants but with the stripe going all the way up, that would be an ok all-maroon look

Road:
No white helmets! Ever!
Silver (not chrome)-White-Grey.
The maroon helmet with the grey stripe in 2018 looked good with the white jerseys and grey pants.

Like our current all white look, no stripe on the helmet and white face masks are a big improvement from our Croom era look. I agree that anything we’ve worn with grey pants the last few years has looked good.

Honestly our uniforms right now are the best we’ve had since the Nike days under Jackie. We’ve made some small tweaks the last couple of years to get the consistency right with striping and numbers. This set is far better than the Croom days or the weird stuff adidas had us wearing in the first 5-6 years of Mullen.

Two complaints about our current set though:

1. Don’t like the maroon pants, particularly the striping, and wish we would do away with them. To be fair, we don’t wear them often, I think we only wore them once in each of the last two years.

2. Our matte maroon helmets don’t match our maroon jerseys at home. Wish we would stick to the normal/shinier maroon at home with white facemasks and only wear the matte helmets on the road.

We need to go away from
The gray face mask/ matte helmet. That’s Texas A&M’s thing. Also, maroon socks needs to be burned. We should wear white cleats with white socks. I like all of our uniform combinations minus the maroon on maroon look. It looks bad and makes us look slow.

Home: Maroon, Maroon, Gray. Our Uni combo we wore against LSU at home in 2017 was the best example of that.

Away: Maroon. White, Gray. See Arky 2015. Sharpest away look we've ever had

I’m all for going back to the black shoes, white socks look that we rocked in the 90’s. Tennessee went to that last year. Looks good

I think Tennessee is going back to their traditional uniforms, similar to Alabama, Auburn and now Georgia.
