*Hahahahaha! The same Gary that said Berry was not only the best pg in his class (Tyus...anyone...anyone)...but that it wasn't even close, and that Berry was far superior to Tyus.
And if that wasn't enough...even after Tyus leading the Blue Devils to a championship, and sealing himself as a Duke legend (as a Freshman and a 'won and done'), Gary still said that if Roy had given Berry the opportunity to play as many minutes as Tyus he would have proven him right! That's unreal!
So, I'm not sold on Gary's ability to grasp reality.

Gary's latest info on Wendall Carter is pretty hilarious as well. I've met some really moronic people on Internet chat boards, but Gary by far, takes the cake as the dumbest. He's severely misinformed on pretty much everything he says.

I would just take a look at 247sports to see what most recruiting pundits think of Duke vs UNC's chances with recruits Duke is going after

I don't even understand how a UNC fan 1) has the scruples to suggest another school doesn't have scruples, and 2) how they still live in this magical kingdom where they're above everyone else. It's flabbergasting.

Don't you be knocking those magical kingdoms, DJ. That's where dreams come true.

He's special, that is for sure.

Slow past few days over there, but Gary-7 did offer this little gem today on the topic of why other coaches didn't rank him among the best offensive coaches in college basketball today.

"I can tell you from experience and first-hand conversations that there is that feeling out there in the coaching world. My take is that it is a combination of old closet resentments of Dean Smith (most respected Dean but it was often grudging respect) and a bit of jealousy that Roy is seen to have walked into plum situations and recruiting bases. The other side of that is the idea that Roy is just running Dean's system and benefiting from having the plum of plum jobs --- the old "man who follows the legend" thing."

1) Nobody is jealous of Roy Williams and the dumpster fire he's presiding over at the moment.

2) Anyone arguing that Roy is an offensive genius needs to have his head checked.

I don't know, Mark, Roy seems pretty offensive to me.:D
Roy has much in common with dumps of all types.

Here is what imajericho said about Nate Britt, that he was far and away considered the best PG in his class before injury. Strange but Rivals had Britt 90th overall in his class. I find it pretty amazing that all of the unc players are the best at what they do.

I guess imajericho forgot about few other PG's.

The post is about Dennis Smith and his coming back from his injury.

"And, remember, Britt was considered far and away the best PG in his class till his injury."

Thanks for the fan, but I am pretty sure he was the number 1 rated PG in his class before his injury and he slid tremendously after it.

You can't be serious? he finished as the #19 ranked PG in the class. You see Dennis Smith Jr falling all the way to 19 b/c of his injury? Not me. Normally, even without the injury and the fact that rankings only refresh every few months at best, he was ranked as the 75th recruit in october '12 and finished the final rankings at 90th. You dont go from top 10 (which a #1pg is) to 90th just b/c of injury. otherwise you were just completely and utterly overrated to begin with.

Imajericho please tell me why a special few of you UNC homers say such stupid things that they make you sound like complete morons? I understand your love for uncheat but you make up **** and then don't understand when others don't agree with you. Please read what timo0402 wrote again and try to take the shades off for a moment. You really make yourself look foolish by saying that Britt was the number 1 rated PG in his class. You and many of the cheat fans sound like 4th graders.

I don't care if he was the 10707117071th ranked PG at the end. Read what I said.

This thread is the gift that keeps on giving. I wasn't expecting such acclaim when I started it way back when....and for the record, this isn't about me. Without UNC fans complete lack of getting it none of this would be possible.

Can we pin this thread at the top of the board????

How do i even respond to this? I read exactly what you said. Did you read what I said? BTW mine had facts. Let's recap.

Jericho- Before injury he was rated the top PG in the class- he slipped a ton b/c of the injury.

Timo's response- Do you think Dennis Smith will fall b/c of his injury- he's currently the #1 PG? ALL THE WAY TO #90. Also, he was ranked in October of '12 at 75th and slid to 90th. The number 1PG in the class isn't going to EVER EVER EVER going to be ranked that far back.

imajericho I am trying to not bash you too severely like visitors usually get bashed when visiting the unCheats board when the fans bombard any visitor but seriously though some of the things you say must make you an embarrassment to your board. The only way a player would go from number 1 to number 90 is if he had an arm or leg amputated.

My favorite one lately was the guy who said, "they tried to destroy us but they only made us stronger".

1. Who is they?

2. Destroy by making you cheat?

Actually, if he's being compared to Sean May then there is no girdle for Luke Maye.

Does this mean no "nanner puddin" for Big Luke. Could this mean a broken recruiting promise that could turn into a transfer? If so HOF Coach Roy Williams better get Wanda some help in that kitchen. No wonder Meeks always has a smile on his face. That "nanner puddin" might be the biggest recruiting tool HOF Coach Roy Williams has going for him. I wonder if she makes" pineapple puddin". I love" pineapple puddin." OFC

So you said "you're pretty sure" Britt was the #1 rated PG before his injury...if this is really true, then why doesn't he play like a top PG? He should be fully healed from his High School injury.

About the only thing he does well is shoot Free Throws. Again, he doesn't play like a #1 ranked PG. I think the eye test says you're full of it.

@DSouthr must really love sour grapes:

"FYI, I caught the second half of the Addias nation game yesterday, Bam was a man amoung boys, I take him right now over Giles and have no hesitation."

It has been enjoyable to watch UNC's recent recruiting futility, and to watch their fan base squirm. The fact that this has coincided with some more great times at Duke is only icing on the cake. But this is a fleeting thing. UNC is a marquee program and they will start getting elite guys again very soon I would imagine.

1st,get over yourself pukie! Grayson might reach those guys in hate, but he never will in accomplishment or talent! Don't recall every saying Grayson wasn't athletic. Never said anything negative about that punk red dick's talent either. Admittedly, I was never impressed with Mr. Scheyer (effective due to system), but opinions differ. But if you suppose that ratty is such a judge of talent and such a great developer, then, either he didn't think the boy could play or GA totally regressed while at puke. I saw him play about 15 minutes of good bball, but I didn't see enough to hype him as much as he has been. AND I am a huge puke hater!

This one is going to be a lot of fun. I presume it's a he. So he posted this over at THR. Must have gotten about 50 likes. I love it when these guys post stuff like this. OFC
