JMM played a huge role in that G.S. championship two years ago. Huge. Kyrie went down in game one where he was putting on a clinic- he plays last year, you could argue they win it.

When has he ever been spot on? When something completely predictable happens and he takes credit for predicting it a month before? A mod giving credibility to unfounded "inside" information that contradicts reliable insider information from guys who are paid to do this for a living is just all around stupid. Then again, I guess I'm not surprised that one of their mods would engage in this sort of behavior. Blind leading the blind.

That thread is actually pretty funny. Gary is backtracking on what he said, even though people are posting what he said. It's fun.
It is not very difficult to look back on what people say on these boards. It is also pretty easy to backtrack without remembering what you types.
He is not correct on high profile, OAD types. UNC doesn't usually have much of a chance with those types these days.

To be honest, I don't doubt that Gary is probably privy to some good information. His problem is that he's just an a-hole in how he presents it. That's what most people don't like about him. In addition to that, his constant whining about how UNC is always getting screwed, whether it be by negative recruiting, $henanigan$, etc. is so tiresome. He's a joke....and one way to know when you're a joke is when basically your entire home board turns against you.
Like I've said many times, I hope he keeps posting forever and never changes. He's a delight to read if you're an outsider.
You forgot the winky faces. That way if something does happen he can claim he knew and if it doesn't, we'll the old i never said that, finds its way out. The guy is a joke. pure and simple.

Hahaha....that thread is awesome. Their hatred for the guy is comical.
It just eats away at the unc fans that Coach K is so successful. They keep TRYING and I capitalize TRYING to find some false fault in him and the only real thing they can come up with that is questionable is his profanity which is pretty much from the culture of the big city and some from his military background. I say culture of the big city because a few years ago DukeSky85 and I went to NYC to take in a couple of Yankee games. We went down to take a subway ride and there were a couple of NYC cops down there. I guess they could tell we were tourist because one of them looked at us and smiled and said " You guys going to the #%^#&*% Yankee game tonight. We told him yes were we. It seems he said have a great time.I didn't think that he was either Satan or Hitler at the time. I thought he was just a nice guy trying to be nice.
Saw this poor woman in a restaurant a few years ago that was going into labor. K pushed her out of the way to order and then Roy gave up his spot in line, strapped on some gloves and a smock he just happen to have on him and perform the birth. What a guy! This is a true story! winky face
Way back in 2004 (on his way to Greece to sabotage the men's olympic team so he could corner the one recruiting advantage anyone could possibly have) K stopped off in Iraq to form ISIS with his close personal friend Saddam and to lay the groundwork for the market crash of 2008.
I love this. One day Coach K was having lunch with a recruit . As they stepped out of the restaurant it was poring down rain. They stood out under the awning waiting for the rain to stop when they seen a poor soul walking down the street in the pouring rain. Coach K noticed that the sole on one of the man's shoes was loose and was flopping so bad that water was just gushing onto his bare foot. Coach stopped the man and took out a roll of money about 6 " in diameter with a nice thick rubber band around the money. Coach K took that rubber band off the money and handed it tot he man and said. " Wrap this thick rubber band around the sole and bottom of your shoe. It will help keep it from flopping so much." I got choked up when I heard this story and had a hard time posting it because of tearing up. Not many people would have even thought or done that.
