Super Metroid was pretty solid. Bubble Bobble so fun and addicting. WoW when I was traveling a lot and living out of a hotel. But favorite all time? Original Legend of Zelda. Was so revolutionary in its fun, and beating the second quest without dying was a nice little challenge back before e-Sports and streaming made everything min/max.

SNES - Super Mario World (Zelda III: A Link to the Past is a close, close second)
Sega Genesis - Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sony Playstation - Resident Evil (Metal gear Solid a close, close, close second)
N64 - Super Mario 64
Sega Dreamcast - House of the Dead
Playstation 2 - SSX Tricky (Grand Theft Auto III a close second)

I'll just go with the most time played and say WoW or FFxi. It has to be one of the those 2. If single player? No clue.

Love the Elder Scrolls games. Really got into it with Oblivion, so that is probably my favorite. Skyrim is excellent as well though.

Big fan of the Battlefield series as well.

I'll just go with some PS4 era games I enjoy.

GTA 5, Witcher 3, Dragon Age Inquisition.

I also enjoyed the Uncharted remastered trilogy from the PS3 days they put out on PS4.

Games I want to play but have not yet: Fallout 4, Uncharted 4 (not out yet but soon), Dark Souls III, etc. I do not have a lot of time so have not bought a game since last November.

Non sports game? THIS ONE!

This got a LOT of play from me back in the day. On a side note, a few years back I beat for the first time the original TMNT nes game, which was really hard.

I don't really play games anymore. I played the Arkham games and I'll play Madden, but that's about it. Every now and then though, I'll break out something like Mario 3 on an emulator and it instantly takes me back.

That NES one was crazy hard. All I remember from that one was the under water mines stuff. The second one was so much fun to play. When I beat it, it probably felt the same way Elway felt when he finally won a Super Bowl.

I don't have the time for games. If I get the chance, I'll play NHL or one of the two Arkham games I bought but only got to play like twice.

I have had Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3. So I have had plenty of experience with both brands of consoles. I finally decided to stick with one and went with the Xbox One. From my experience, the online play is much better on Xbox Live. Unless they have changed things, you couldn't even start a party chat outside of the game in the past on the PlayStation Network.

The one big advantage for Sony was the Blu-ray player, but it is available now on the Xbox One. You also get 4 free games a month. You get 2 for the Xbox One and 2 for the 360 that can be played on the Xbox One since it is backwards compatible for a number of games now. I believe there are very few exclusives on the PS4 to make it worth getting for me. I also think the PlayStation controller sucks. It is to small and makes my hands feel cramped while holding it. I think there is talk of making it possible to play against other systems in the future so that will be interesting if that happens.

Loved Doom3, but it didn't offer much new in the way of community, mechanics, or multiplayer. Kind of disapointed that the new Doom multiplayer is really just a Halo clone, a deathmatch arena type multiplayer that I thought died with the CODs of recent years.

Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, Half Life, Battlefield 1942, Planetside.. these are all landmark FPS games in my opinion. Each one was a milestone of some magnitude. I'm sure there are more.

Aside from a select few games like Pac-man, Mario, etc.. I'm not sure there are many more important games than Half Life. A huge leap forward in online gaming, FPS, community, competition gaming.

Favorites all time is tough. Games that I think I could beat anybody in: Mario Kart 64 or Double Dash, Mario Strikers (awesome soccer game for Gamecube), NBA Jam. Love Resident Evil 4 and 5, Borderlands, GTA Vice City (best of the series IMO), BioShock, Arkham City/Asylum.

Right now all I play is Star Wars Battlefront for PS4 and NBA 2K16, with some Fallout 4 and Last of Us sprinkled in.

This is a pretty cool video that goes into the thoughts about how the Mario games were designed, including discussion on the creation of the classic World 1-1.

Check this out. There are some ultra-nerds in this room, but this guy knows more about NES TMNT than any person should.

I've gotten away from multiplayer. I just can't get sucked in to playing 3-4 hours a day. I've gone through Doom Eternal, Far Cry 5, GTA 5, and hoping to get a discount on Red Dead soon.

Command And Conquer remastered is legit. I thought I would crush that game, now that I'm older and I know what I'm doing.. nope.
