For those who are making the trip here are some great spots to enjoy.

Restaurants:
Hugos- excellent burgers, beer, dark basement cool vibe, it’s downtown within walking distance to Dickson street and a few brewery’s downtown
JJ’s on Dickson- wide range of options for food and drinks and it’s on Dickson. They’ll usually have live music
Bordinos- pricey Italian food on Dickson
Mermaids- great pastas and seafood
Wrights BBQ- voted one of the best barbecue joints in Arkansas and honestly one of the best places for ribs and brisket I’ve ever had
Herman’s- great steaks, wings
Mojos- pizza
Tiny Tim’s- pizza
Foghorns- cheaper option but good sports bar and great wings

Brewery/Pub options:
Dickson street- (younger crowd) Sideways, 21st Amendment
Willy D’s is a piano bar on Dickson
Downtown just a little walk from Dickson there is Maxines Taproom that’s more of a mature crowd and it’s one of the highest rated bars in Arkansas. Small dark chill place comparable to the Guest Room in Starkville and there is West Mountain brewery downtown as well
Fossil Cove Brewery
Crisis brewery
Apple Blossom brewery
Core Brewery (Springdale)
Ozark Brewery (Rogers 15-20 minute drive)
Bike Rack Brewery (Bentonville 30 minutes)
JGBG in Fayetteville- tons of outdoor games to play, decent food, huge bar

Brunch/Breakfast options:
The farmers table (be prepared for a wait)
Ricks iron skillet
Prelude Breakfast
Mama Carmens for coffee
Arsagas for coffee
Onyx for coffee

Things to Do:
Be sad watching the game
Crystal Bridges Museum (Bentonville)- Walton’s built this and have some amazing exhibits
Fast Lanes- bowling, beer, laser tag, arcade games, bumper cars
Georges Majestic probably has a concert or two going on
Defy- High Rise (Rogers) is a trampoline park
Razorback Malco- every theater room has reclining seats
Buffalo River Area- tons of hiking trails with the foliage right now would be great and it’s about an hour from Fayetteville (if you have more questions ask me)
Devils Den- hiking trails within 30 minutes
Greenway trail- for bikers one of the best around the country

Hope this helps some of you that decide to make the trip. I’ll be there, hope to see some of my fellow Bulldogs there.

Lol yes. JGBG, Foghorns, JJ’s will all have tons of TVs with good games on to distract from the poo slinging fest that will happen during our game

You assume there are actually fans going to see this "winner takes control of Last Place in the SEC West division' slug fest huh?

It’s not very often I get to be around other Mississippi State fans so when there are even a little it makes me feel good up here in NWA. Those that are coming have some options here to have a good time and that’s the only reason I put the info out. I’m sure very few will make the trip unfortunately

You can pretend to think that all you want, but you know as well as I do that you guys are confident and excited about this game.

I’d be interested to hear Little Rock sports radio talk. I can imagine it is much more optimistic than our local talk shows. And The Arkansans have no reason to believe they win.

I live up here too. NWA is a great place to live but is short on State fans. I work in a building with a couple hundred engineers and occasionally get back to Mississippi for work but I agree it will be nice to see a little more maroon around.

Can't speak for LR or Mississippi but the ones I listen to in Northwest Arkansas are pretty done. When the media in Arkansas turns on a coach that's when you know he doesn't have much time left. The Auburn game was our lowest attended SEC game since 2001 and there will probably be a record low number of season ticket renewals next year if Morris is retained.

One of the news stations ran a poll for the fanbase if they think Morris should get a 3rd year and 88% said no. Most are either asking if we should be in the Big 12 or talking about basketball.

I live up in NWA as well, in Bentonville. I look forward to this game every 2 years, but this year has REALLY let me down.

I see where the alumni chapter is having a tailgate before the game at George's on Dickson for $15 per person. Any fellow SPS posters planning on going to that?

A lot of friends up here seem to have more excitement about this game because they know it’s probably their last shot at a conference win for the season besides the Missouri game. I have a feeling the crowd won’t be too bad. Everyone is just about done with Morris for sure though.

I've eaten at Marley's Chicago Style pizza a couple of times when I was in the area and it is really good. A small pizza joint/sports bar.

Marleys is very good and they also have great wings

Cafe Rue Orleans is great and has an especially good brunch

Powerhouse has decent seafood right off of Dickson

Catfish Hole is great for all you can eat hush puppies, pinto beans, catfish, shrimp... love that place and so did Brett Bielema

I second the Cafe Rue Orleans - the bourbon street chicken is excellent.

As for catfish, I would prefer Eat My Catfish. I have loved Catfish Hole for years but their quality hasn't been as good the last few times and the new place is good.
