Damn, when you talk $$, it's TV, not attendance. That's where it is in the long run & CIncy/Col will cannibalize each other there. It's thinking about tomorrow, not today.Exactly. So the fact that the two cities are less than 2 hrs apart means absolutely nothing.
They don't/won't draw from each other's fan base.
Announced today....Crystal Palace to play FC Cincinnati in a friendly this July. Only USL team they are playing on tour.
You got to give it up to the ownership of FCC, they are leaps and bounds ahead of Louisville in just a very short time.

If FCC beats Tampa (NASL) in the US Open Cup on June 1 they play the Columbus Crew.
Bengals attendance has been good for over 25 years and rather remarkable in the lost decade. Just not great or even remotely in the same ballpark as the leaders.Bengals attendance has been very, very good for the last 6+ years.
None of that matters because the FC Cincy crowd is a whole different group of people. There is a sizable young, soccer crazed portion of the population in Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky that this caters to perfectly.
This is a situation of right time, right place and I only see it growing with the money and marketing being put behind it.
The Reds rebuilding can't hurt, either.
