This will probably go off the rails quickly....
With an issue that can't be fair to everyone, you have to be fair to the most people possible.... and this is.
I hear the ham sandwich affirming surgery is particularly painful..........When it comes to the "trans" topic, my thoughts are, "I don't what to see it, I don't want to pay for it, and I don't want you competeing in sports against my granddaughters... otherwise I don't care if you identify as a ham sandwich"
The cure is worse than the cureI hear the ham sandwich affirming surgery is particularly painful..........
All that aggravation just to play from the red tees! This is what we’re up against.
Unfortunately, it's a really complex issue with no easy solutions (well, no easy solutions if you're worried about the trans-community). I agree that there appears to be a competitive advantage so it's really complex when it's taking away opportunities from others such as a college scholarship...at the same time, it really unfortunate for the trans youth that is shunned from playing youth sports and/or experiencing all that others can experience in life, especially when it's a group that's already dealing with high risks of suicide, isolation, etc.I am a girl (and boy) dad. I am sympathetic to those who find themselves at odds with this ruling, but am not smart enough to find an equitable way to fix it.
There are no perfect solutions. But at a bare minimum, everyone ought to be able to agree that young women should not be forced to view male genitals in a locker room.Unfortunately, it's a really complex issue with no easy solutions (well, no easy solutions if you're worried about the trans-community). Now that is well playedThe cure is worse than the cure
What is the rule about a woman transitioning to a guy? Can she/ he play women’s sports?
You should get a tranny poll!Solving the big dinner table issues one at a time folks…..

NoWhat is the rule about a woman transitioning to a guy? Can she/ he play women’s sports?
Does that mean she transitions to a guy and she must play as a guy, but a guy transitioning to a chick can’t play women’s sports?
Actually you are not too far offAll ten of them?
Actually you are not too far off
Research has determined there may be a total of 100 trans athletes in college sports. That accounts for less than 0.02% (roughly) of all NCAA athletes across the different divisions.
This whole thing is a colossal waste of time and energy not just by the NCAA but by legislators and others who have taken an infinitesimally small issue and exploded it into a crisis that... really doesn't exist.
A lot of time/$ has been spent on these types of issues in the past (Casey Martin, Oscar Pistorius, etc), and I’m sure it will continue into the future as nuances arise.Actually you are not too far off

She was born a girl she can play girl sports born a guy play guy sports. Don’t understand why it’s so difficult. But I’m 60 so something happened in the past 20 or so years that I missed. What is the rule about a woman transitioning to a guy? Can she/ he play women’s sports?

It only exists as a wedge issue, the politician's favorite thing.
I can assure you that a girl transitioning to a guy won’t be playing girl’s sports, based on testosterone levels. She was born a girl she can play girl sports born a guy play guy sports. MO that was very well said.I'm all for law abiding citizens living their lives as they see fit. Gay? More power to you. Transvestite? Go for it. And if someone feels trapped in the wrong body, they should be able to find their own way to lead their best life as long as it doesn't affect someone else's freedom to live their own lives as they see fit. But biological males competing in female sports does exactly that. It deprives biological females of the opportunity for fair competition.

Spoken by a father who has never had a teenage daughter. I still hold out hope for you.I agree, but it matters to girls who lose to this very small minority of athletes. I’d never allow my daughter to care that much about winning or losing but it is unfair biologically.
